Frequently Asked Questions
What's the easiest plant to start with if I've never kept one alive?
Snake plants, ZZ plants, and cast iron plants are about as forgiving as houseplants get — they tolerate low light, irregular watering, and general neglect better than almost anything else we sell.
Do you sell plants that are safe for pets?
We carry a mix of pet-safe and toxic-to-pets varieties, and each is clearly noted on the product page. Always check before buying if you share your home with curious cats or dogs.
Can I grow outdoor plants in containers if I don't have a yard?
Many of our shrubs, perennials, and even some trees can be grown in containers on a patio or balcony, especially compact and dwarf varieties. Check the listed mature size to make sure it fits your space.
How do I find a plant that matches my lighting situation?
Every plant listing notes its sunlight needs, from full shade to full sun. If you're not sure how much light your space gets, observe it over a day — direct sun for several hours means "full sun," while bright but indirect light suits most popular houseplants.
