A space that works for everyone
RoomForPlants is for everyone who loves plants - or is just beginning to. That includes our website. We believe a great experience online should be just as welcoming as the one you get in person, and that means making sure every visitor can browse, learn, and shop without unnecessary friction.
Our standards
We work continuously to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice, that means:
- Descriptive alt text on all product and editorial imagery, so nothing gets lost in translation.
- Logical heading structures and keyboard-navigable layouts throughout the site.
- Sufficient color contrast across all pages - beautiful doesn't have to mean hard to read.
- Forms and interactive elements labeled for compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies.
- Compatibility with common assistive technologies and web browsers.
Ongoing work
We're always improving. Some third-party content on our site - like embedded apps, maps or social media feeds - falls outside our direct control, but we keep a close eye on everything within reach and update it regularly.
